Audio training courses, video narrations, podcasts. No mic, no studio, no re-recording 15 times.

ElevenLabs clones your voice from a 30-second recording. Then you write your text and it reads it in YOUR voice, in more than 30 languages. It's one of the tools I demo in in-person training. Here's the complete guide.

What ElevenLabs actually is

ElevenLabs is the go-to tool for AI-generated voice. Two main uses: text-to-speech (you write, a natural voice reads) and voice cloning (the voice reading is yours). The result is stunningly natural: intonations, pauses, breaths.

💡The real game changer: a mistake in your training module? You fix the TEXT and the audio regenerates. You never re-record again.

What you can create with it

Audio training courses

Your course materials become professional audio modules, in your voice, without a studio.

Video narrations

The voiceover for your YouTube videos, reels and presentations, generated from your script.

Multilingual content

Your voice speaks English, Arabic or Spanish. Your content reaches audiences you couldn't reach before.

Podcasts

Record your show without any gear: write, generate, publish.

The complete guide in 4 steps

  1. 1

    Create your account

Go to ElevenLabs. There's a free plan to test text-to-speech with existing voices. Cloning your own voice requires a paid plan (starting at a few dollars a month, check current pricing).

  2. 2

    Clone your voice

Record about 30 seconds of your voice, in a quiet spot, speaking naturally. The cleaner the sample, the more faithful the clone.

  3. 3

    Write your text

Paste your script. Punctuate carefully: commas and periods guide the reading rhythm. Short sentences give the most natural result.

  4. 4

    Choose the language and generate

Select the language and adjust the stability and style settings to set the tone: calm, enthusiastic, serious. Listen, adjust, regenerate.

My tips for a natural result

  • Record your sample in total quiet: the clone also reproduces flaws
  • Short, well-punctuated sentences: that's what guides the intonation
  • Listen to every audio in full before publishing, especially proper nouns and numbers
  • NEVER clone someone else's voice without their written permission
  • Be transparent with your audience when an audio is generated
