You saw the video. Here is the full guide, the one you save and open when you are ready to actually take action.
The idea is simple. AI has become more powerful and much cheaper than a year ago. A model now does in minutes what used to take hours. While some people are scared of losing their job, others use it to get paid. The skill that pays in 2026 is not knowing how to code. It is taking these new tools and solving a real problem, for yourself and for other people.
Each way follows the same structure: what it is, who pays you, the tools, a prompt you can copy, and your first concrete step.
One rule before you start. AI can get things wrong. It sometimes makes things up with confidence. You always check what it generates before you hand it to a client. That is the job.
1. Video editing
What it is. You turn a long video into short, clean content: reels, shorts, punchy clips. AI does the heavy lifting, you keep control of the taste.
Who pays you. Overwhelmed creators, coaches, businesses, founders. Everyone has footage sitting unused and no time to edit.
The tools. CapCut for editing, Opus Clip or an auto-clipping tool to pull the best moments out of a long video, Descript to cut video by editing the text, a model like Claude or Gemini to write hooks and captions.
Prompt to copy (to write hooks and find the strong moments):
You are a social media video editor. Here is the transcript of a 20-minute video. Find the 5 strongest moments to turn into 30 to 45 second reels. For each one: give the start and end timestamp, an 8-word maximum hook to show in the first second, and the caption text. Direct style, short sentences, no jargon.
Your first step. Take a video from a creator you like. Edit one reel for free. Send it to them with a simple line: "Made you one, I do 8 a month if you want." A sample beats a thousand promises.
2. Product launch videos
What it is. So many apps, shops and startups have a great product but a demo that does not sell. You build them a clean launch video that makes people want it.
Who pays you. Small apps, online shops, local startups, nonprofits launching a program.
The tools. A model to write the script, ElevenLabs for a clean voiceover, a screen recorder to film the product, CapCut to assemble. For generated shots, an AI video tool.
Prompt to copy (to write the launch script):
You are a launch video scriptwriter. Here is my product description: [paste what the product does, for whom, the problem it solves]. Write a 30-second script. Structure: a problem the target lives every day, then the product as the solution, then one concrete proof, then a call to action. Human tone, 8 to 12 word sentences, no empty superlatives.
Your first step. Find a small app with a weak landing page. Make it a 20-second video for free. Offer the full paid version. You show first, you charge second.
3. Motion design and animations
This is the part people ask about the most, so we go into detail.
What it is. Animations, animated titles, the little moving graphics that make reels and ads look pro. It used to take After Effects skills. Now you can describe what you want and let a model write the animation for you.
Who pays you. Creators, brands, agencies, and any business that wants reels that look professional.
The key tool: Hyperframes. It is an open-source framework from HeyGen. The idea is called "video as code": you write HTML with animations, and the tool turns it into an MP4 video. It is free and built to be driven by AI. The code is public here: https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes. You can search "hyperframes" on GitHub to see full examples.
How it works, plainly. You do not draw frame by frame. You describe a scene (a title that appears, steps that slide in, an arrow that draws itself) and a model like Claude writes the HTML with the animations. Hyperframes renders it as a vertical video ready for a reel.
The motion prompt to copy (this is the one that generates the animation):
You are a motion designer working with Hyperframes, HeyGen's open-source framework that renders HTML into MP4 video (video as code). Write me a vertical composition, 1080 by 1920, 30 frames per second, 5 seconds long. Dark blue gradient background. The scene shows: a large gold number "2" that pops in, then a title "Workflows", then a list of 5 steps that slide in from the left one by one, with a small gold arrow drawing itself between each step. Use GSAP for the animations (back.out for the pop, stagger for the list). Important: load GSAP locally, not from a CDN. Give me the full HTML file, ready to render.
What the result looks like (a snippet of the animation code).
const tl = gsap.timeline({ paused: true });
tl.from("#num", { opacity:0, scale:0.5, duration:0.6, ease:"back.out(1.7)" }, 0);
tl.from("#title", { opacity:0, x:26, duration:0.5 }, 0.25);
tl.from(".step", { opacity:0, x:-70, stagger:0.26, duration:0.5, ease:"power3.out" }, 0.7);
tl.from(".arrow", { scaleY:0, stagger:0.26, duration:0.2 }, 0.95);To render it (once the HTML is ready).
npx hyperframes render -c my_scene.html -o output.mp4 -q looksTwo traps to know. Always load GSAP locally, otherwise the render can fail if CDN access is blocked. And keep each animation short, 5 to 6 seconds, that is the right rhythm for a reel.
Ready-made prompts, by type of video
You do not have to start from scratch every time. Pick the case that matches your video and adapt it.
List reel (5 tools, 5 ways): “Edit my video as a list reel: glitch hook, animated summary of the 5 points, one chapter card per point, one metaphor visual per idea, final CTA.”
Tool tutorial: “Recreate the interface of [tool] as an animation and show each step the moment I say it: click, typing, result.”
Product or course launch: “Make a launch video: kinetic title, a phone showing the product, a countdown, an Early Access badge, CTA.”
Data-driven message: “Every number I mention becomes an animation: a counter, a curve or an odometer, with the source shown in small text.”
Masterclass promo: “Create a 30-second video for my Sunday masterclass: date in palettes, 3 punchy benefits, a clicked Sign up button.”
Another language version: “Keep exactly the same animations as the French version, translate all the text to English, and re-time it to my English voiceover.”
Minimal version: “Minimal version: white background, black pills, serif captions, no full screen, only b-roll at the top of the screen.”
4 tips for prompts that work on the first try
- Always give a reference video. It is the most powerful shortcut: "Analyze this style and reproduce it."
- Speak in timing. "On the word paid" works better than "near the start."
- Ask for screenshots before the render. Fixing a screenshot takes a minute, redoing a render takes ten.
- Stay honest. Do not fake tweets or testimonials from real people. Sign the cards with your own brand and note that the numbers are examples.
Your first step. Generate a single title animation for your own channel. Post it. When a brand asks "did you make that," you already have your first client.
4. Build a micro-SaaS
What it is. A small online tool that solves one precise problem, that people pay a small subscription for. You do not need a big idea. One real problem, well solved, is enough.
Who pays you. The people who have that exact problem. A tool that prices a restaurant menu, an invoice generator for seamstresses, a savings-group tracker. Look around you.
The tools. Lovable, Bolt or an AI-driven editor to build the app without starting from scratch. You describe, the AI codes, you adjust.
Prompt to copy (to build the first version):
Build a simple web app that solves this problem: [describe the problem and who has it]. The user should be able to [main action] and get [result]. Clean interface, mobile first. Start with the simplest version that works, a single page. We will add payment later.
Your first step. Pick a problem you or someone close to you really lives. Build the simplest possible version. Show it to ten people who have that problem. If three say "I would pay for that," you add payment.
5. Build a video game
What it is. A small, simple game that people play, that earns money through in-app purchases. Start small, see if it catches, then add more.
Who pays you. The players, through in-app purchases or ads. And there is a strong angle for you: a game based on local culture. A proverbs quiz, a game about a region's history, a word game in a local language. Nobody is doing it, and it speaks to everyone.
The tools. Platforms like Roblox to start, or an AI-driven game editor that turns a description into a playable game.
Prompt to copy (to prototype the game):
Help me create a simple small mobile game based on [local culture, for example a Hausa proverbs quiz]. Describe the rules in one page, how a round plays out, and the first screen. Keep it very simple to play, a round lasts under two minutes. Suggest a simple way to make money with it, without ruining the player's fun.
Your first step. Build a tiny prototype, one mechanic only. Let five friends test it. If they ask for another round, you have something.
How to land your first client this week
Theory does not pay. Here is the shortcut.
Pick one of the five ways, the one that speaks to you most. Do not try to do all of them. Make one free sample for one specific person, not for "the market." Send it to them directly with a simple offer and a clear price. Repeat with five people. The first yes almost always comes before the tenth message.
The secret is not the tool. It is delivering something useful, fast, and asking to be paid without flinching.
