Go to gamma.app. The free plan offers around 400 credits, enough to create about ten presentations to get the hang of it.

Describe your topic or paste your document
Click Create. Two options: describe your topic in one sentence ('Presentation on AI careers in Africa for students'), or paste your existing document and Gamma turns it into slides.

Approve the proposed outline
Gamma first proposes the structure (slide titles). Reorganize, delete, add what you want BEFORE generation. This is where you save time.

Choose your theme
Select a visual theme. Tip: stick to 2-3 sober themes for all your documents, consistency looks more professional than variety.

Refine in plain language

My tips for a truly professional result
- Reread EVERYTHING: Gamma structures well but can make up numbers. Replace its statistics with your own
- One idea per slide: if Gamma puts three, ask it to split them up
- Check the language: specify 'in English' in your prompt if the output comes out in another language
- Export to PDF or PowerPoint if your audience requires it (paid plans), otherwise share the web link
- Never paste your company's confidential data into the tool
